SYLLABUS FOR SPECIAL EDUCATION

GRADES : KINDERGARTEN; FIRST GRADE

All of the students that I(Joelle Narcisse) service are working towards a high school diploma, so they follow the same syllabus, homework calendar, grading scale, projects, and test schedule as the regular education students.

Reading tests are given weekly.

Math tests are given weekly.

As a special education teacher, I provide small group instruction in Reading and Math daily for at least 40 minutes each subject and grade level. Modifications are used to assist students become successful. In the event that different strategies are needed, they will be used.

The most important thing to do is to check the homework calendar sent by the regular education teacher to check for homework and tests.
