VACHERIE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL'S BLACK HISTORY MONTH CELEBRATION

Vacherie Elementary teachers and students celebrated Black history during the month of February.  The students learned about various African Americans who made a positive impact on black and American culture.     

Vacherie Elementary School, home of the Rockets, serves students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through third. Led by Principal Julie Waguespack, the school is home to more than 250 students and 40 employees. Our school offers an education for all students providing them with opportunities to reach their full potential by participating in numerous academic programs and the arts.
